Next Show

Don Bray is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, recording engineer and producer from Ottawa Ontario Canada. He’s been playing guitar and writing songs longer than most of us have been alive. https://donbray.ca

In 1969 he saw Bruce Cockburn in concert and remembers thinking “That’s what I want to do with the guitar.” Of course he felt that way about Jeff Beck and Leo Kottke as well.

He grew up in a magic time in terms of songwriting. The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and many more all watered his seeds.

Don lives in Carleton Place Ontario with his partner Mel and his two cats Squeaky Monroe and Joni Mitchell. Pat will be your host as the two songwriters engage with the audience by sharing songs, stories and discussing the craft of songwriting.

...a passionate musician who is fiercely committed to the music that he plays, and it shows every time he picks up his guitar...”
