SCHOOLOON - Music Clinic Diatonic - Theory Phase 1

 —  —

Moose McGuire's, 6 Broad St, Brockville, ON

I will be holding a series of music clinics at Moose McGuire’s in Brockville this winter. Basically the purpose of the clinic is to take the scary stuff away. Give you the fundamentals of how scales and chords relate. Show you the patterns that will answer such questions as. Why do some chords work together and others sound bad? Why is it called a G7 chord, or a diminished chord, or a minor chord? etc. What key is a song in? What notes should I play over a given song? I have taught this clinic many times (probably 50 or more) while I was an instructor at the National Guitar Workshop. This clinic is for anybody who does not have a clear understanding of “Diatonic Theory”. Whether you have been making music for 6 weeks or 60 years I promise it will be a musically enlightening experience. I am limiting enrollment to 15 people. So I will require payment and your contact information to put you on the list. I have attached a PDF of the poster. Fee is $50 Bring Notebook Pencil(s) - eraser Guitar $ for beverage, it's called a Schooloon for a reason.
